mSENSE accelerometer

mSENSE is a triaxial accelerometer sensor using MEMS technology for structural and seismic monitoring applications.
The sensor, based on the capacitive measurement principle, is ideal for dynamic structural monitoring applications such as bridges and viaducts.

– Range: ±2g; ±4g; ±8g
– Sensitivity: ≥ 2000 mV/g; ≥ 1000 mV/g (±4g); ≥ 500 mV/g (±8g) – Spectral Noise: ≤ 22.5 μg/Hz^0.5
;
– Operating Temperature: -40 to 85 °C;
– ntegrated Temperature Measurement;
– Output: Analog or Digital (Modbus-RTU/ASCII);
– Robust Enclosure: Aluminum (IP67);

The mSENSE accelerometer is housed in a robust aluminum enclosure with an IP67 protection rating. This sensor provides users with all the advantages of modern MEMS chip technology along with the ability to monitor temperature through an integrated probe within the sensor.
Accurately calibrated during production, the mSENSE accelerometer is easy to mount both horizontally and vertically (on vertical surfaces using an “L” bracket) and to connect to appropriate data reading/acquisition devices. It requires three channels for analog output or a single RS485 bus for Modbus-RTU output.

Compatible for direct connection to Boviar/Sunta data acquisition devices of the “DAS” series, the mSENSE sensor is supplied with a standard 1-meter multipolar cable with free leads and a technical calibration sheet (available upon request with a connector and counter- connector for an additional charge).
